Multifunction Radar System Design

In this session, we will demonstrate modelling and simulation techniques that include antenna through detections, in addition to basic closed loop scheduling and tracking. Specific topics and examples will include:

  • Multi-function phased array design with frequency, PRF, waveform, and beam placement agility for radar, EW, and communication systems
  • Electronic signal analysis of interference sources
  • Machine learning for target and signal identification
  • Closed-loop simulation between a radar model and a scheduler
  • RF propagation analysis and visualisation

You will learn how to:

  • Model complex, multifunction radar systems
  • Develop models which could be useful to evaluate upgrades and modernisation efforts
  • Build executable models as deliverables between government, prime and subcontractors
  • Generate data for integration and test purposes
